Travis Marks is the founder and lead project manager behind MarksmanGate, bringing a unique blend of engineering expertise, hands-on craftsmanship, and design passion to every project. Originally trained as a mechanical engineer, Travis built a deep foundation in structural design, materials science, and mechanical systems — but it was his love for transforming physical spaces that ultimately led him into the world of property enhancements, renovations, and landscape improvements.x

Over time, Travis’s focus sharpened into a passion for gate systems, perimeter design, and smart property integration — blending form, function, and advanced technology. Expanding his expertise, he pursued in-depth training in residential and commercial electrical systems, learning how automation and access control can elevate not just a property’s appearance, but also its security, convenience, and long-term value.

Today, as an AFA Certified Gate Automation Designer, Travis combines formal engineering training with years of hands-on project experience to deliver custom gate and fencing solutions that balance durability, elegance, and innovation. Whether overseeing a custom entry gate, an integrated access control system, or a full-scale estate perimeter installation, Travis approaches each project with precision, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
